29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There were damaged parts that could adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that were broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to electrical hazards. On or about 4/22/19, an electrical conduit line near the mixing and blending area was damaged in that the joint between the conduit and outlet box was not connected resulting in the conduit not being secured. Employees use the 120V duplex outlet three to four times per week to power various equipment to include a power washer. Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
