29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment: On or about April 25, 2019, in the Nut Room, employees were exposed to electrical hazards and the employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was effectively closed exposing employees to electrical hazards in the following instances: a) General Electric distribution panel with unused conduit opening; and b) Square D electrical distribution panel with unused openings where breakers 5 and 11 were missing.
