29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: A) Autoplas Division, Windsor Mold Group, located at 560 Goodrich Road, Bellevue, OH 44811: On or about August 20, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees used proper electrical protective equipment for the face, head, hands, and body to prevent burns, electrocution, electrical shock, or other injuries when employees were performing maintenance operations on electrical equipment. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards while conducting activities such as, but not limited to, troubleshooting and checking part number for the disconnect on the electrical panel for the hydraulic 1000 Ton Demag Press # 13 (Model: Titan 900; Serial # 0508). B) Autoplas Division, Windsor Mold Group, located at 560 Goodrich Road, Bellevue, OH 44811: On or about September 11, 2018, the employer did not ensure that employees used proper electrical protective equipment for the face, head, hands, and body to prevent burns, electrocution, electrical shock, or other injuries when employees were performing maintenance operations on electrical equipment. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards while conducting activities such as, but not limited to, troubleshooting, cleaning, and replacing heater bands on the hydraulic 1000 Ton Demag Press # 13 (Model: Titan 900; Serial # 0508).
