29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation. (a) ContractOne, Inc. at 105 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that adequate precautions had been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation in the north trench. Water was accumulating while employees were working in the trench installing a water line, when the trench collapsed. This condition exposed employees to a cave-in hazard. (b) ContractOne, Inc. at 107 Base Camp Circle, Granby, CO 80446: On or before June 14, 2018, the employer did not ensure that adequate precautions had been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation in the south trench. Water was accumulating while employees were working in the trench installing a water line. This condition exposed employees to a cave-in hazard.
