29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: Maintenance check includes an internal examination, except extinguishers with stored pressure. Southern Tire Mart, Covington, GA (Throughout the facility) - On or about June 29, 2018, and times prior to, employees were exposed to a fire hazard in that the fire extinguishers had not been inspected annually. The fire extinguishers inspections expired May 15, 2018. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
