29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(3)(ii): The employer shall ensure that employees who have skin contact with chromium (VI) wash their hands and faces at the end of the work shift and prior to eating, drinking, smoking, chewing tobacco or gum, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet: Employees engaged in welding activities in welding bays were exposed to health hazards in that employees did not wash their hands and face prior to drinking water in the area subject to over exposure of OSHA permeable exposure limit for hexavalent chromium.
