29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Maintenance Shop: An Alliant drill press, model 42VC serial number 75027002, was not guarded to protect employees from hot flying metal chips and rotating parts, on or about 9/13/17. b) Assembly Area: A JET drill press, model J-2530 serial number 16080780, was not guarded to protect employees from rotating parts, on or about 9/13/17.
