29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(vii)(A)(2): The area from the top of the electric equipment to the structure ceiling and the space equal to the width and depth of the equipment was not kept clear of foreign systems nor was protection provided to avoid damage from condensation, leaks, or breaks in such foreign systems. On or about March 2, 2017, employees were exposed to electrical hazards when the 480 volt switch gear panels were not protected from water from the sprinkler line that was mounted on the wall above the switch gear panels. The switch gear panels were located beside the employee entrance door (near press 103). In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
