29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): The employer shall provide portable fire extinguishers and shall mount, locate and identify them so that they are readily accessible to employees without subjecting the employees to possible injury. a. Located in the maintenance shop, mounted on the four foot masonry wall behind the vertical band saw, a portable fire extinguisher was not in an identifiable location or readily accessible. b. Located in the maintenance shop, mounted on the West wall by the office door, two portable fire extinguishers were not in an identifiable location. c. Located in the maintenance shop, mounted on the South wall behind the chop saw, a portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible. e. Located near the hot wheel grinders station, mounted on the South wall, a portable fire extinguisher was not in an identifiable location. f. Located in the basement, along the South wall near ladle repair, a portable fire extinguisher was not mounted or in an identifiable location. g. Located in the basement, along the South near the hot wheel grinders area, a portable fire extinguisher was not in an identifiable location. h.
