29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- 258 Gordon Road, Block 26.03, Lot 8, Robbinsville NJ: Company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet to ground surface below, when improperly using an aluminum extension ladder that also contained visibly damaged and missing parts. In addition, these employees had not received any written/verbal training or tool box talks from the company regarding ladder hazard recognition and minimization training. Condition observed on or about 05/24/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
