29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(iii): Points of access, materials handling areas, storage areas, and hoisting areas shall be connected to the work area by an access path formed by two warning lines. (a)Pro-Tec Roofing, Inc. @ 1515 15th St. NE, Watertown, SD 57071: On and prior to April 21, 2016, the exposing employer did not ensure that the warning line system was connected to the work area by an access path formed by two warning lines. Employees accessed the main roof through a roof hatch that did not have warning lines creating a path to the east roof, where employees were engaged in EPDM roof installation on the Watertown Recreation Center. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 33 feet.
