29 CFR 1910.24(g): Stairway platforms were less than 30 inches in length measured in the direction of travel: Stairway Platform in Ammonia Machinery Room: Employees were exposed to fall hazards while walking up and down the stairs where the upper landing measured approximately 24-inches, and where a fixed ladder on the same landing further restricted the length of the platform to 12.5-inches
