29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(ii): The employer did not use engineering controls and work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of exposure, in the form of wet methods or wetting agents to control employee exposures during asbestos handling, mixing, removal, cutting, application and cleanup: a) In the Facility, Coke Oven Batteries 1, 2, and 3, on or about February 1 through February 5, 2016, the employer did not use wet methods or wetting agents to control employee exposures during asbestos handling, removal, cutting and cleanup. United States Steel Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314110610, citation number 1, item number 3b, and was affirmed as a final order on December 4, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 400 State Street, Clairton, PA 15025.
