29 CFR 1910.124(j)(3): Periodic inspections of all dipping and coating equipment, including covers, drains, overflow piping, and electrical and fire-extinguishing systems were not conducted, and deficiencies were not promptly corrected: a) The shared quench tank for the two banks of rotary furnaces at 106 Lonczak Drive Chicopee, MA: On or about April 13, 2016, the employer did not ensure that the pumps in the quench tank for the rotary batch furnaces had been periodically inspected. b) The quench tank for belt furnace #1 at 106 Lonczak Drive Chicopee, MA: On or about April 13, 2016, the employer did not ensure that the pump in the quench tank for the belt furnace #1 had been periodically inspected. c) The quench tank for belt furnace #2 at 106 Lonczak Drive Chicopee, MA: On or about April 13, 2016, the employer did not ensure that the pump and fire suppression system in the quench tank for belt #2 furnace had been periodically inspected.
