29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a. 450 N. Broad Street, Elizabeth, NJ The employer did not develop, establish and/or document a hazardous energy control program. Employees engaged in the repairs of automotive vehicles were required to perform routine servicing and drain the water from a Le Roi/Dresser, 140-145 psi, 120 gallon, air compressor tank on a weekly basis where the unexpected startup of the equipment or the stored energy of compressed air could be released. Violation occurred on or about February 22, 2016
