29 CFR 1926.1207(a): The employer did not provide training to each employee and ensure that the employee possessed the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this standard: a) Danville Borough Municipal Authority Storage Site, employees, who performed work inside a water tank which was a permit required confined space, were not trained and knowledgeable of the potential hazards of dust generated by the abrasive blasting of interior tank coatings, on or about November 15, 2015 b) Danville Borough Municipal Authority Storage Site, employees, who performed work inside a water tank which was a permit required confined space, were not trained and knowledgeable on the use of the 4 gas meter, on or about November 15, 2015 ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
