29 CFR 1910.68(e)(1): All manlifts were not inspected by a competent designated person at intervals of not more than 30 days. Limit switches were not checked weekly. Manlifts found to be unsafe were operated without being properly repaired. This violation occurred on or about August 22, 2015, the following inspection requirements were not met: a) The manlift was not inspected at a minimum of every 30 days exposing employees to caught-in and struck by hazards. b) The pressure switches for the automatic stop devices on the top landing were not checked weekly exposing employees to caught-in and struck by hazards. c) Manlifts found to be unsafe were not taken out of service until repaired properly exposing employees to caught-in and struck by hazards
