29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a. Wilbert, Inc. - Bellevue, OH: On or about February 2, 2015, the employer did not ensure that employees who serviced plastic molding machines, such but not limited to presses A56 and A57, were adequately trained in the skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls. Employees that performed tasks such as troubleshooting, cleaning, and mold setting were not trained to isolate all energy sources to protect against the unexpected energization and/or release of stored energy.
