29 CFR 1926.451(h)(1): Each employee on a scaffold was not provided with additional protection from falling hand tools, debris, and other small objects through the installation of toeboards, screens, guardrail systems, or through the erection of debris nets, catch platforms, or canopy structures that contained or deflected the falling objects: a) On or about 3/6/15 at the Quality Inn & Suites rehabilitation project located at 8200 Park Road, Batavia, New York; employee had portable power tools, hand tools and materials on scaffold platforms above and near the entrance to the work area and hotel. The were no toeboards or other protection in place. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
