29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and insure the usage of "point of operation guards" or properly applied and adjusted point of operation devices on every operation performed on a mechanical power press. See Table O-10. a. Tiffin Metal Products Co. located in Tiffin Ohio: On or about March 25, 2015 the employer did not ensure the 60 ton Garco Machinery Company full revolution mechanical power press located in the Building #1 welding department was properly guarded. The hair pin guard on the machine was improperly adjusted which could allow an employee to place their hand(s) in the point of operation during the machine cycle.
