29 CFR 1910.146(d)(5)(ii): Test or monitor the permit space as necessary to determine if acceptable entry conditions are being maintained during the course of entry operations; and a. On or about September 25, 2017, located at Furnace #2 and Furnace #3, the employer did not have the atmosphere tested while employees worked in permit required confined space for two days, thereby exposing the employees to a hazardous atmosphere.
