29 CFR 1926.1437(h)(6): The employer did not ensure that the information required in 1926.1437(h)(2), (h)(4), and (h)(5) for monthly, annual, and four-year barge crane inspections was documented and maintained in accordance with 1926.1412(e)(3) and (f)(7). a) Jobsite: On or about 6/20/24, the employer did not ensure that the barge inspections were documented and maintained, as no barge inspections were provided. Abatement Note: The following inspections must be conducted, documented and maintained: 1. The monthly and annual inspections required in paragraphs (h)(2) and (h)(4) of this section are documented in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.1412 (e)(3) and 29 CFR 1926.1412(f)(7) 2. The four-year inspection required in paragraph (h)(5) of this section is documented in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.1412(f)(7) and must be maintained for at least 4 years. All such documents must be made available, during the applicable document retention period, to all persons who conduct inspections in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.1412.
