29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): Facility-wide: On or about December 06, 2021, the employer did not ensure that safety data sheets were readily accessible to employees that use hazardous chemicals as a regular part of their jobs. Painters and maintenance employees painted and cleaned with hazardous paints and solvents, which included, but were not limited to, a Klean Strip Acetone, a Category 2 flammable liquid with Category 2 serious eye damage effects, and Trilux 33 Blue, a Category 1 skin sensitizer and Category 3 flammable liquid. Employees were not able to access the safety data sheets by their self electronically and physical copies were not available at the site for the employees in the event that emergency access to them was needed.
