29 CFR 1910.217(d)(1)(ii): Hand tool(s) were not used for freeing and removing stuck work or scrap pieces from the die(s) of mechanical power press(es) so that no employee needed to reach into the point of operation for such purposes; On or about July 14, 2020 the employer failed to provide or ensure the usage of hand tools for removing stuck production pieces from the Aida 300 ton mechanical power press. Employees were observed reaching into the point of operation area of the press to remove stuck components from the die area.
