29 CFR 1910.334(a)(4): Portable electric equipment and flexible cords used in highly conductive work locations (such a those inundated with water or other conductive liquids), or in job locations where employees are likely to contact water or conductive liquids,shall be approved for those locations: On or about July 28, 2018 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that all portable electric equipment and flexible cords used in highly conductive work locations were approved for those locations exposing employees to hazards associated with electric shock. a) The portable wide angle LED worklight (s/n CTF180105944) being used inside the mud tank was not approved for use in a wet area. b) The flexible cords in use by employees cleaning the mud tank were not approved for use in a wet area.
