29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Shop area of the warehouse; On or about 6/12/18, the employer did not provide hazard communication training to employees using chemicals. The shop employee repairing furniture uses various paints, stains, varnishes and strippers. The finishing products, from Mohawk, contain solvents such as acetone, toluene, methanol and ethanol. The stripper used contains methylene chloride.
