29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area: a) 820 Petersburg Road, Carlisle, PA - The employer did not train the employees on the hazards of the chemicals in the work area, employees used chemicals such as but not limited to: REMA Tip Top Universal Mounting Paste (polymers and rust inhibitors), John Deere TY 6350 Multi-Purpose Spray Lubricant (xylene, stoddard solvent) and John Deere Premium Ether Starting Fluid RE556468 (diethyl ether), and the measures employees can take to protect themselves, on or about, July 10, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
