29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a)Rapid Packaging Company, Inc. at 1310 West 7th Avenue, Brookings, SD 57006: On or about and at times prior to January 7, 2025, the employer did not ensure that electrical extension cords were not being utilized as permanent wiring on the upper left side of the General Gluer located in the Raw part of the warehouse. This condition exposed employees to shock and electrocution hazards.
