29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) Repair Area - On or about December 20, 2023, an employee was required to handle chemicals which could cause serious eye damage, including those found in M102-0420 such as: isobutyl acetate, ethyl acetate, propane, acetone, n-butane, toluene, butanol, cellulose nitrate, cellulose ester, butyl cellosolve, isopropanol, and n-butyl acetate and were not provided with protective eyewear. Abatement Certification and Documentation Required.
