29 CFR 1910.1020(d)(1)(ii): Preservation of records. Unless a specific occupational safety and health standard provided a different period of time, each employer shall assure the preservation and retention of records as follows: Employee exposure records. Each employee exposure record shall be preserved and maintained for at least thirty (30) years. a.) On or about November 7, 2023, the employer did not preserve and maintain an exposure record containing the collection methodology (sampling plan), a description of the analytical and mathematical methods used, and a summary of other background data relevant to interpretation of the results obtained for air monitoring conducted on January 14, 2022, to determine hexavalent chromium exposure levels for welders working in the employer's regulated area.
