29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge: 31 Chapel St. Northampton, MA 01060: On or about September 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure stair rails were installed on the first, second, or third story staircases that his employees used to access the upper levels, and exposing them to potential fall hazards during a commercial construction project.
