29 CFR 1926.602(c)(1)(vi): Industrial truck(s) in use did not meet the applicable requirements of design, construction, stability, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operation, as defined in American National Standards Institute B56.1-1969, Safety Standards for Powered Industrial Trucks. a) On or about August 22, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer left a Caterpillar Telehandler TL1255D SN. ML700498 unattended, with the boom extended, while employees worked from a material handling box installed on the forklift at an elevation of approximately thirty-five (35) feet, thereby exposing employees to struck by and crushing hazards.
