29 CFR 1910.184(e)(1): Alloy steel sling(s) did not have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach: Employees working in the manufacturing plant were exposed to a crushed-by hazard when the following chain slings did not have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach: (a) On or about August 2, 2023, a two-legged alloy steel chain sling used to hold the neck of a gooseneck trailer in the air. (b) On or about July 27, 2023, site made alloy steel chain slings used to hang trailers from the overhead trolley system in a two-legged configuration.
