29 CFR 1910.1024(m)(4)(i)(B): The employer did not provide initial training to each employee who did, or could reasonably be expected to have airborne exposure to or dermal contact with beryllium by the time of initial assignment: a)State Metal Industries, H Furnace: Furnace operators that were directed to enter H furnace to clean were not provided training on the hazards of beryllium prior to entry, on or about 12/9/21. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFIACATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENATIONS FOR THEIS ITEM. FAILUTE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29CFR 1903.19
