29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) Spray Finishing and Sanding Operations: Employees are required to wear 3M full facepiece dual cartridge respirators while conducting spray finishing operations and N95 filtering facepiece masks while conducting sanding operations. Prior to requiring the use of respiratory protection, the employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability use a respirator, on or about 2/5/20.
