29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(ii): Inspection and testing procedures shall follow recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices: At a facility located at 191 W. 28th Avenue, Oshkosh, WI 54902; the inspections and testing procedure for equipment on the ammonia system did not follow recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices when: a) Procedures for inspecting pressure relieve valves conducted by Maintenance employees on a monthly basis were not consistent with the recommended inspection practices of the valves' manufacturer b) Procedures for monthly tests of ammonia sensors (RKI and Crowcon) were not consistent with the recommended inspection practices of the sensors' manufacturers. c) Procedures for the periodic change out of Crowcon ammonia sensor were not consistent with the recommended replacement periods of the sensor's manufacturer.
