29 CFR 1926.62(j)(1)(i): The employer did not make available initial medical surveillance, consisting of biological monitoring in the form of blood sampling and analysis for lead and zinc protoporphyrin levels, to employees occupationally exposed on any day to lead at or above the action level: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to lead hazards. The condition was most recently documented on February 28th, 2019, at 137 Hale Library, Manhattan KS. Employees engaged in paint removal activities in rooms 212 and 117 were exposed to lead hazards in that the employer did not provide biological monitoring until many months into the project.
