29 CFR 1926.62(j)(1)(i): The employer did not make available initial medical surveillance, consisting of biological monitoring in the form of blood sampling and analysis for lead and zinc protoporphyrin levels, to employees occupationally exposed on any day to lead at or above the action level: a) Reptile house attic and habitat area - On or about 02/23/2018 - 03/24/2018, employees used power saws and jack-hammers to perform manual demolition of structures including benches, louvers, and rock features with lead content which ranged between 0.0091%-26.182% by weight and between 33.28ug/10cm2 - 2189ug/10cm2 surface concentration. The employer did not make available initial medical surveillance to employees who performed manual demolition of structures containing lead. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
