29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area (Agriculture Reference: 1928.21(a)(5)): The employer failed to provide chemical hazard communication training on the physical and health hazards of the chemicals that employees are exposed to. Employees were exposed to chemicals such as, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide decomposition gases and corrosive products, and potentially exposed to flammable chemical gases, such as methane, while performing swine management duties. Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
