29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: a) Throughout the facility: On or about November 7, 2017, and at times prior to, the employer did not ensure that emergency exit signs were illuminated and in working condition. In case of fire or other emergency requiring evacuation, employees were exposed to entrapment, burns, and smoke inhalation hazards.
