29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: (a) On or about May 31, 2017, two metal junction boxes installed on the injection molding machine were missing knockout plugs. The junction boxes were 208 volt each. Employees work around and must pass by the two junction boxes. Employees exposed to the hazard of an electrical shock. (b) On or about May 31, 2017, at the Cincinnati Milacron UT220, a 208 volt disconnect panel box was missing a knockout plug on the side of the box. Employees operate the machine and work around the disconnect box. Employees exposed to the hazard of an electrical shock.
