29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors. On or about April 21, 2017 a) On or about April 21, 2017, in the Assembly Department, the Lantech Stretch Wrapper model Q300XT, SN QX012051, was receiving power from extension cords that were run through the ceiling. b) On or about April 21, 2017, in the Assembly Department, the Kolbalt machine was receiving power from extension cords that were run through the ceiling. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
