29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support): a) North side, west end of building; exterior wall of the Pro-Shop: Employee approximately 7-8 feet above ground level worked from the 24 ft Werner Aluminum extension ladder setup at approximated 52° to the horizontal, on or about 02/24/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
