29 CFR 1915.1001(k)(6): At the entrance to mechanical rooms/areas, which employees could reasonably be expected to enter and which contained ACM and/or PACM, the building/vessel owner did not post signs identifying the materials present, their location, and appropriate work practices which, if followed, would ensure that ACM and/or PACM would not be disturbed: a) On or about September 13, 2016, signs warning employees of the presence of Asbestos Containing Material or Presumed Asbestos Containing Material, their location and appropriate work practices and were not posted at the entrance of the walls of the floating dry-dock's port and starboard wings, exposing employees to airborne asbestos fibers if they inadvertently disturb asbestos containing insulation.
