29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined daily before being placed in service: The employer does not ensure daily inspections are conducted on forklifts used at the facility. This violation was observed on or about September 30, 2016 at the facility. An employee was exposed to the hazard of being struck by falling loads. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure daily inspections are conducted on all forklifts used at the facility.
