29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: On or about March 17, 2016, employees working on production lines were exposed to struck-by hazards when forklift daily inspections had not been performed during January, February, or March of 2016. Deficiencies such as, but not limited to, plastic around wheels and a missing load back rest bolt had not been found. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
