29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck by and caught between hazards associated with operating powered industrial trucks with missing safety equipment. This was most recently evident during the inspection of the facility located at 2500 Old Hadar Rd & 2300 Riverside Blvd. Norfolk, NE 68701; where the employer has employees operating the shag truck parked along the west side of the building with a missing seat belt, as a means of moving trailers around the company property as well as drive the shag truck on the public roads to the company buildings across the highway.
