29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: At the commercial worksite located at 2818 North Oak Grove Avenue, Springfield, Missouri: Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when using temporary wiring in lieu of permanent wiring to power tools. a) The Grizzly dust collector was plugged into an extension cord that was run across the shop floor to an electrical outlet. b) The angle grinder was plugged into an extension cord that was run across the shop floor to an electrical outlet. c) A vertical shop light was plugged into an extension cord that was plugged into an electrical outlet.
