29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s). a. On or about November 6, 2024, in the chemical room, the employer failed to maintain copies of safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace. Safety data sheets were not readily available to employees required to work with or around hazardous chemicals including ChemStation 3131 (containing sodium hypochlorite), ChemSan 2007 Qat Sanitizer (containing alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride), and ChemStation 30085 Portable Foamer (containing sodium hydroxide/hypochlorite).
