29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1):Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a)On or about March 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the portion of the blade on the Powermatic MT, model 66, that was exposed above the work table and above the material being cut was protected by an automatically adjusting hood, exposing employees to possible amputation hazards. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
